Hostel ...

(to view our hostel information in French, click here)

Located on 180 acres of primarily forest land, and equipped with modern facilities and educational infrastructure, we offer the ideal setting for a sustainable get-away any time of year!  All guests are encouraged to take a tour of our farm with a staff member in order to learn about the ways that we are working to build a more sustainable system suited to our climate and resources.

In winter we offer rental snowshoeing equipment and groomed trails for cross-country skiing so that you can experience the wonders of the natural world and learn about the flora and fauna of New Hampshire.  Tenney Mountain Ski Area is only ten miles away.

When the snow is gone, outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking and guided garden and forest walks, while mountain bikers can enjoy free run of the forest trail system (marked with colored tags and explained on our Trail Guide).  D Acres is the perfect place to stay for rock climbers, located within 10 miles of the Rumney Crag!

D Acres is pleased to offer wireless internet access (you supply the laptop) to our hostel guests!
